Weatherford College fall 2014 adn applicants

I am applying for WC this Dec/Jan for fall 2014 Rn program. I am going to re-take my teas this month to hopefully improve my score. If I get in I will be driving from Hurst. Hopefully it won't be too bad of a drive.

I have 35 points so I guess I could go either way. Guess that's why I'm so nervous.

I screamed like a mad woman yesterday when my husband taunted me with the mail. Just bills. But yes, every day I gleefully bound to my mailbox, filled with expectation and hope. Sigh - when will our torment end! lol

I only have 28 points, I'm INSANELY nervous!! 4.0 student, but only a few classes; I can hardly contain my nervousness! Each day I check the mailbox to no avail, I come back inside -trying not to mope- and just study for upcoming exams all the harder (I think I'm driving my partner crazy with my fervent anticipation) LOL! Every day, I wish and hope... but nothing yet... I'm hoping for the best for all of us!!

I asked Student Services if they had any idea and they said it could be any time but the week of the 11th is the most likely. At first, I felt crestfallen; then I felt reassured that at least that was a date I could work with. Now, I wonder if that means we'll get them around that Friday or if they come out that Friday!

Best of luck to all of us! We're already ahead of the curve by being members of this site -so that should make us feel better! Some students don't want it this badly or are not even aware of this resource and community. All in all, hopefully, the waiting game doesn't last much longer because I'm not very good at it!

I emailed her today... I succumbed to being THAT guy. I apologized for being annoying (it's the first time I've emailed her on this, but still) and asked if she had an estimate on when we could expect to hear something. I was tempted to ask about average points, but I didn't want to press my luck. I haven't yet received a response.

I received the following response word for word: You will typically hear something around 6-8wks after the deadline. Thanks, KL

Student Services answer of "Around the 11th" was a little more helpful LOL!
