I am applying for WC this Dec/Jan for fall 2014 Rn program. I am going to re-take my teas this month to hopefully improve my score. If I get in I will be driving from Hurst. Hopefully it won't be too bad of a drive.
I got a blue card in the mail today from Texas Board of Nursing. It says "Dear prospective nursing student" and says that the board of nursing is in receipt of my background check and my file is clear. I recall in the informative meeting I attended at WCWC that they said the waiting for the Board of Nursing info is the main reason the letters/packets take so long to get out. So......yeah.....hopefully very soon we'll get packets!! I got all excited when I saw "Texas Board of Nursing" but it's apparently just a general informative mailing. *pins and needles*
A roster of names from all fully qualified applications will be created and sent to the BON approximately two weeks after the application deadline. The BON will send a confirmation email to the ADN Program that all student information has been entered into the BON system and issue a "FAST Pass" originator number (this can take up to ten business days). The ADN Program will provide this FAST Pass information to each fully qualified applicant.
