Hey y'all ! I am setting up a forum for Fall 2022 applicants. Also anyone who's in the program please come share your experience with us.
Did you guys see the Covid vaccine post on the ADN page of Weatherford's website? I think perhaps that might be what is slowing the process of selection down. Weatherford does not require the vaccine for students, but many of the partnered health facilities do, so students have had difficulty completing clinicals... therefore health science students will have to show proof of the Covid vaccine as well. I am thinking they were either trying to get enough clinical spots without that having to be the case, or they were having to discuss what policy change to accompany the partnered health facilities (which seems to maybe be what the end result has been). This is just my speculation... but if anyone does not have that vaccine, you might want to look into that.

Hi I got an email asking the possibility to join the evening classes in weatherford. I am wondering whether this is the only option for the program or I can still choose traditional program? Or wise county program.

I *think* I have max points possible, because I live in Parker county, scored exemplary on my TEAS, and have all my BSN track courses complete with a 3.98 GPA.
I was planning on doing UTA's AOBSN program and got accepted, but they wanted me to do my clinicals in Austin and I cannot do that, so I had to turn it down... so now I am wanting to do Weatherford and Tech partnership for my BSN.
Don't fret over your points and don't compare yourself to anyone else! You have worked hard to get to the point of even applying and you should be proud of yourself no matter what... and never lose heart! You can do anything if you just persevere and keep going, one step at a time.
