Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
hi yall, i sure wish we could get some word soon.... so hard to make plans for semester
I know!! I'm moving to Weatherford in the next couple of weeks and I need to find a job, but I don't know what my availability will be like. Part or full time? PRN, flexible, or fixed hours? This not knowing is excruciating.
Yeah its really difficult to make plans for the semester when you don't know what it's going to look like. My daughter is going to start preschool :,( the same time I (hopefully) start nursing school and I really need to make plans for childcare/whose going to pick her up/drop her off when I cant.. I would love some mommy friends who are also nursing students! If anyone else on here is a mom and gets accepted then defiantly we need to meet up at orientation. Actually all of us allnurses students need to stick together. We have shown how badly we want this by being here on AN!
Is anyone starting to feel very uneasy? Like maybe almost NOT looking forward to getting the letters just because you're scared that it might be bad news? I started feeling that today lol.

I am a single mom with a 10 year old daughter at home, not sure what ill do about clinicals and such if I get in . Yes I am feeling very uneasy right now as my points are looking alot lower than most of yall on here. I am mostly insure about what i'll do if I do not get in .
I'm back! So the plan is to apply at WCWC, WC and TCJC this summer. I only applied at WC this time round. I never applied anywhere and am just now waking up to the fact I better apply everywhere because of the competition. I've been concentrating on getting my BSN track done for so long. I am a student who started college 20 years after graduating High School!!!
I live in Granbury so I need to look up how long the commute would be to WCWC if I don't get in the second time I apply to WC. I'm honestly so freaked out about my Chemistry class. There is only one teacher who teaches Chem. At WC. There is so much math, which I don't enjoy, and he hasn't done one math problem! He reads from the book at lecture, tells us to look up our homework but he never goes through any of it. I asked him about this and he told me this was college and I should be able to figure it out and to start a study group! Needless to say, I've looked everything up on YouTube! Ok, now I sound like I'm whining! Sorry. Praying for a chemistry miracle over here! lol. I do :yes:appreciate this thread though, I'm learning a lot!

Yes I made it to the interview stage, but the ADN program will be my first choice. My interview is this Thursday at 10am. They said it would only be 10 mins. I wonder what questions they'll ask.
