how do you wear your hair when going to work as a cna

Published

For me my hair will be up 100% of the time because I can't work with my hair down it gets in my eyes its only shoulder length but still and the residents won't be able to pull easily. And also can anyone recommend a comfy shoe to work it obv. Has to be white

Specializes in none as of yet.

I used to have my hair down to the middle of my back in a ponytail. I got BM in my hair one night and when I discovered this, I washed the BM out and cut my hair. My hair is hangs about an inch below my earlobes now. I have told people that if I get BM in my hair again that I'm going to shave my head!

I wear it up.

Always.

In fact, I'm so used to wearing it up, I never wear it down-- even outside of work. It drives me nuts to feel it on my neck!

I wear red lipstick so I don't look like the dead and a little dusting power.

Shoes? Love my Nikes. I have trouble with my feet so I am willing to pay more for a good pair.

Had a pt pee on my head once

Wearing my hair up didn't save me that time.

I wear make-up at work, and too much of it at that. Why should I only look tacky on my days off ? :smokin:

Haha. One of my babies at work aims for me sometimes, I swear! He's 4, and a lot of the time, when I go to change him, he pees as soon as I pull the front of his brief down. The first time, I was bent over a little because his bed was lowered and he only missed my face by a couple of inches!

Our hair has to be off the hsoulders, so I will usually sport a plait, a pony tail or a bun.
