We use Cerner at our hospital, and I like it. I haven't used the other systems.

Cerner has a nice layout and easy to navigate if you know how to read.

HMS bites. I was the informatics nurse supporting it.

It's an old system that has had the clinical apps smooshed onto the financials. Not well integrated, somewhat slow, not as intuitive as it should be.

I'm on a new system now that I love called Sigma, but it's primarly for LTCs, I believe.

From what I've seen of Cener I like it.

I have used Cerner and Meditech, and as far as ease of use, I would say Cerner is the winner. User friendly for sure.

CPRS works well...we use it at the VA and it is pretty user friendly

I work in a rural hospital that uses the Dairyland program, recently changed to Healthland. I personally do not like this program. Although we have had a few software upgrades, we continue to have some bugs that need to be worked out. I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the other programs, but a few of my co-workers have and say Healthland is not very user friendly compared to others they have used. My suggestion: AVOID HEALTHLAND!

I can show you a couple of systems that I've worked with. Right now, i'm looking at a company based out of Saint Louis that makes EMR. their main benefit to me is that they change the system to look and work in the way i want it to. tell me what's the best way to contact you and i can show you what the system looks like. cheers!

We are also a rural Critical Access hospital. We use CPSI for inpatients and EMAP in the ED. I guess CPSI is alright.

Government is going to be passing a law that all EMR systems needs to be certified by the government. Our hospital made the choice of EPIC (EPIC hyperspace)

i really like it.

I have used Cerner at the place i did my internship...i liked it, it was OK...but i like EPIC much better. i think its more user friendly. And it does the same things Cerner does.

EPIC is approved by the government.

Dont know too much on this law, its just something i heard....

Cerner is not approved...yet!

Ok...to other person who doesnt like EPIC....

really though, its MUCH better than the other ones out there. I used several different ones. it was so much easier to navigate around....believe it or not!!!! EPIC was difficult to get started at first...no one really knew what they were doing.

Our doctors HATE it...but the doctors at the other hospital hate Cerner as well.

it just requires more charting and precise charting rather than faxing and paper!
