WCCCD Spring 2012 Hopefuls

Hello,

I am going to be a first time applicant this June (SO nervous). Ofcourse, I really hope to get in I have been taking 1 or 2 classes here and there since 2007. I am applying with a 3.9 (I had to re-take BIO250 to get that GPA)and I am scheduled to take the TEAS in June. I was just wondering if there are any other future applicants out there.

Yes. They tell you the pts you received & what the cutoff was for that semester.

Anybody get a letter today???? Im on my way home to check the mail right now!!!!

ok....it's 4:22pm and I just called Nursing office again. The woman told me the mail carrier didn't pick up the letters until this morning from their office!!!!! So, basically they sat in the office all weekend while many of us agonized over them. She said the mail carrier picked them up this morning (monday, aug 29th). She told me to check my mail tomorrow. I'm seriously so stressed....my heart is beating a million miles a minute!!!! let's keep eachother posted please:confused:

Well if I would have known I could have picked up my letter saturday when I went to class! LOL. It would have saved them postage and would have saved me from worrying like crazy!! I hope we get our letters soon, because if not my mail lady is going to get a P.P.O. against me:eek:

Well I would like to say xotr@$,, lol. I know we all want this so bad but I would like to say I really hope the rest of their program is not this screwed up! Tomorrow is the last day to drop at a 100% and who knows if there will be a openings if you need to reteake a class to bring up our GPA for the next semester! way to go WCCCD!

I went into the nursing office on friday at noon to ask about letters. Two women were stuffing envelopes at that time. I begged them to give me my letter but they said they couldn't!!!! Why???? The letters were right there!!!! Ugh!! So stressed!!

O.K. my mail just ran and yet again no letter!! I am mentally and physically exhausted at this point:uhoh3:

Nothing in my mail today either:crying2:!!!!! I honestly cannot handle the suspense. Why are they doing this to us? Do you think they do it on purpose to see if we can "hang" through all the crap????

Last day to withdraw at 100% doesn't mean anything to the nursing department apparently.

what is the deal!?!? im at work so im waiting to hear word from the mail but apparently its not coming today....ugggggh well ill be stalking the mailman tommorrow i guess...that is terrible that they didnt get them out because what if you don't get in are we suppossed to just apply again with no chance to retake the classes we need?? this is total crap!!

matter of fact im going to call the nursing dept and tell them how i feel about this. basically if we didnt get in for january start they have managed to screw us over for fall start too!! uggggh

I called and told them I needed to know today because today is the last day to drop classes at 100%. I got in! I was also told there were fewer applicants this year and that always helps. Good luck!
