WCCCD Spring 2012 Hopefuls

Hello,

I am going to be a first time applicant this June (SO nervous). Ofcourse, I really hope to get in I have been taking 1 or 2 classes here and there since 2007. I am applying with a 3.9 (I had to re-take BIO250 to get that GPA)and I am scheduled to take the TEAS in June. I was just wondering if there are any other future applicants out there.

anyone kmow what the points were? Or what was your points to at least give us an ideal.

My pre-req GPA: 3.54; Co-req: 3.71; all Co-req's except one completed. Only one pre-req taken @ WCCCD; 50% Co-req's taken @ WCCCD; no medical credit; TEAS: Math-67; Reading-91. Stand out essay (I received acknowledgement for my essay 2-weeks after submission of my June 30th application): Two- Heartfelt references. So, that being said, I suspect my overall points were on the low end. However, I believe that I am an example of the overall application being taken in consideration. I didnt make the cut this round but I was prepared not to so I'm okay, hopefully next round. I have to make my app stronger and retake the TEAS and I will hopefully get my CNA cert tomorrow. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who got in and thank you ALL for your help!!!!

I made it as an alternate, Which means, if I don't start this January, I will definitely be in for next september 2012.

Can any of you tell me what your total points were? I did not make it and I still do not know how many points I have and I do not get a clear definition on their total point scale....I know my gpa and my teas but how do they give you points for it and how do you get points for taking your classes at WCCCD versus another school, Of course I have called to be told to make Another appointment to go over it but I cant just keep missing work.Other colleges have a form that clearly show how their points work! The cut off 64.5
