WCCCD Spring 2013 Hopeful!!

Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Letters were mailed yesterday and the balance of them today :) I'm excited Good luck everyone! !! Does anyone know the cut off points or how many applied

Keeping my fingers crossed. Applied in 2010 but didn't get in. I hope we all get in this time.

I don't think they gave us a detailed break down but I had

3.78 (1 B in Micro)

85 Reading 73.3 Math and a 70 overall

All co-reqs done

All classes done at WC3

And my CNA license

I called the nursing department yesterday. I was told the letters won't go out until next week. They had a story about needing them signed and the mailman had already came for the day. I wish we could get a straight answer.

The nursing department needs to get it together. They are telling everybody different things

I know they said they had mailed some letters on Thursday and the rest on Friday. I wonder what the real truth is.

Has ANY one received a letter? Do they mail acceptance letters then sad letters last? ?? Any info pls share :)

I'm going nuts! Stalked the mail lady today and nothing came, of course. Really worried that it's going to be a NO after all the hard work I've done :( I think I'm right on the edge, I have:

3.56 GPA (B's in both anatomy classes, damn curve in A&P 1)

81 Reading, 83.3 Math and 78.7 overall (87th percentile) on the TEAS

All classes taken at WCCCD

But if I re-apply in February, it'll be

3.74 GPA (i plan on getting a 4.0 this semester lol)

same TEAS, might re-take though

4 of 7 co-reqs taken

All classes taken at WCCCD

I hope all you get in..!! No I take that back all of you are in LOL I'm on the road to getting where you all are at now :) This was the only recent thread I seen on WC3 so I was just like to comment and say to me and a other lurkers you all are inspiring us! So therefore, we don't know if the letters went out Thursday, Friday or if they went out. We also don't know if we should be expecting a letter Tuesday or Wednesday because we can't get a straight answer from the office. I was told as well that they were going out on Thursday or Friday. This is crazy and it's not fair to have us waiting like this. They do this twice a year. You would think they'd have things together by now!
