  1. If you were not in the program, you can take hsc100 in the summer. But if you are in the program, you need to do Hsc 100 to be able to progress to the next 7.5 weeks.
  2. I just checked too and I haven't being registered. Did they say we will be registered by the 26th or they will start registering us on the 26th?
  3. I am excited too. There is a brand new nurse on my floor who just graduated from this program. I always run to her for advice. She told me not to feed on negative comments. Make the most use of study times, note cards are your best friend. Never let the instructors know you are a CNA. She explained that to me and it's a lengthy explanation. We can do this people!
  4. It should be mailed to the Northwest campus. It should say attention ----------------. The schools' address is :8200 W Outer Drive, Detroit, MI 48219.i told them to mail a copy to me, can't risk any stories.
  5. I hate to be negative, but I'm going to be truthful. You can't work full time. The girls who work part time at my job save up all their vacation time, call in sick and are under enormous stress. Full time will be hard.
  6. I got a denial letter in 2010. It was in a regular white envelope. Yes it was thin because it was just one sheet. My happy letter came in a bigger, yellow envelope, it had a bunch of papers telling you a bunch of stuff. I kindda had a good feeling about it when I saw the envelope. I hope for the very best for everyone who is waiting.
  7. Thanks Barbellonly.
  8. They don't tell you how many points you get. From my own estimate I may have like 80 points. GPA 4.0, only 8 points for TEAS, health care experience and current CNA license, all but one co reqs and then 3 classes taken at other schools. Not sure how many points I got for doing 4 out of the 5 coreqs or how many points I got for the classes I did at wc3
  9. I'm in! The wait is final over. Now the real battle begins.
  10. Vent all you want, it is therapeutic. I'm just about to go crazy. Please keep us posted. Thanks.
  11. I know they said they had mailed some letters on Thursday and the rest on Friday. I wonder what the real truth is.
  12. That put you at about 89 points. That is pretty high.
  13. Keeping my fingers crossed. Applied in 2010 but didn't get in. I hope we all get in this time.
  14. I always wonder why people keep saying you cannot graduate from a school that has state approval. I know many nurses who went to nursing school in other countries and come here, take the same exam everyone else is taking. They work in many hospitals, especially in the one I work at. If a nursing degree from other countries is good enough, then I don't see what the problem is. Go to nursing school, pass your NCLEX and that's what matters.
