WCCCD Spring 2013 Hopeful!!

Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Well if I get in...I wont be able to accept because I already started the RT program. I was hoping Wayne would have mailed the acceptance letters in early August before I started. Maybe someone will get my spot (If I even get accepted)

This was my first time applying (I went the 6/30 meeting) so I really don't have anything to compare it to. But I expected to see a lot more people at the meeting than what I saw. There wasn't that many people when I went. Maybe like 30-40.
Yeah, I went on 6/30 as well. I would've thought it was around 60 ppl total. Really your guess sounds better to my ears. Lol

I went to the meeting in June and they had about 200 ppl. It was packed. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE. IM PRAYING FOR US ALL

It still sounds like there was a small number of applicants. I'm confident we should receive something this week.

Well when I was at the meeting there was no where near even 100 applicants maybe 8 people in line in front of me to get the app, a hand full of people filling them out at the desks, and probably 30ish people in line to turn in the app. Obviously it depends on what time you were there. Either way I am sure it's going to be very competitive as it always is and like always only the best are going to make it. Good luck to you and hopefully we are some of the best that make it :)

I agree, even 200 at a meeting seems low. If you hear anything this week please keep us posted. I will do the same :D

Does anyone know someone already in the program? If so are they able to work? My job is not flexable ay all, so if I do get in I may have to find somethign else. Anyone have any suggestions?
