Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

It has to be completed by the 1st 7.5 weeks. Thats a requirement. If not, you will have to sit out of the program until you do complete it but your seat is not guaranteed to be saved for you when you do come back.If you havent completed it already, you should know that it is offered every 7.5 weeks so you can go ahead and sign up for it in October and get it out of the way. And since its considered a nursing class, its only 7.5 weeks.

thank you. that is what I am going to do. I didn't know they offered it in October. That's wonderfulhow much would it cost to take that one class?
Depends on if you are an in or out-of district resident, but the class is only 1 Credit (should be less than $150)

I've already pulled out my Med/Math book and began studying it. It's been a few semesters since I've taken the class. I'm glad I got all of that out of the way.
I don't see any courses for Medical Math and Measurements starting in October. I called but they were transferring me all over the place. Should I go to Wayne County and try to register in person? is there a certain campus its being held?
Why dont u registeer thru webgate? Ifu cant u might need to go into any of the 5 campuses registrars office n regiter there.
are there a lot of minorities in the nursing program? does it have diversity? just curious

I am currently doing the pre and co req's and have been super worried about how I could work while in the program. Seeing this makes me feel better. The worst is the first 7 1/2 weeks but I could still work a couple of days and I will have to find a job for the weekend. Of course my boss might fire me and that all will change :) I want to be a nurse though so I will figure out a way.
Thanks for posting this schedule. I plan on applying not later than June 2013!
Does anyone know if we are required to have the drug test sent to the school or do we bring that in on Nov. 14th?
Its best to take it in to the school, but whatever you turn in to the nursing office ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure you make an extra copy, because they will easily say that you didnt turn documents in or they dont have it or its not in your file.
so for the drug test, turn it intto the office and take it on 11-14. and keep an extra copy too
