Wcccd 2014 hopeful

Hello everyone,

I'm new to all-nurses and was wondering if there were any spring 2014 hopefuls? I'll be applying to the program in September and struggling to figure out if I want to retake a class I got a B in to help my chances of getting in on the first try. I'm looking at a 3.44 without retaking this class...

Nothing here either. Im praying we will get something tomorrow. If they were really sent out on Monday then we sould be getting them this week sometimes.

Another day of not receiving a letter! Were they even sent out!? I tried calling but can never get ahold of anyone

Since it seems like nobody has received a letter, I sent an email to the nursing department asking when we should expect to hear. They normally reply fairly quickly (plus its nice to have the answer in writing)

The response from the nursing department:

"The students who applied to the Nursing Program were sent letters by mail—the letters went out yesterday afternoon. You should expect to receive a letter regarding your status tomorrow or Saturday. "

Thank you! It's so hard to get any straight answer! I hope that what they sent you is for real, this whole waiting game is killing me!

I called yesterday and they told me Friday or Saturday too. Good luck everyone!

I got a letter that said I was an alternate... They only took 60 students! And 10 alternates so I'm still not sure how this is gonna turn out... Congrats to everyone who got a definite in!!!
