  1. They didn't give us our point values. I know I had at least 80 (60 from gpa, 20 from teas). Possibly more from having some of the coreqs finished.
  2. I went to concentra in Livonia today and was told they were out of the ppd test. The Romulus and Novi locations are supposed to have it
  3. They did not give us time at all. Yes have to get cpr by Nov 6th. I don't think you have to go anywhere specific for the drug test
  4. Congrats!! I also received my acceptance today. Woo hoo!
  5. Thanks I'll look into that
  6. Let us know. We also have to have our CPR license, which I do not have. Just ridiculous to give us a week and half basically to have this done.
  7. Could they have given us any less time to get everything done? My doctor doesn't have the ppd test, so I have to call around and find someone who does
  8. I was super stressed too about the Teas. Just take a deep breath and relax. Don't second guess your answers. Take your time. I really think if your getting in the 70's in the McGraw book, you should be able to pass with at least a 62 with no problem. Just go over your problems area today and relax tomorrow before the test.
  9. Yay!!!!! Oh man, my mail doesn't come for an hour. Congrats wen!
  10. I used the McGraw practice book so I am not familiar with the ATI book. Does the study guide also have practice tests? If not, I would take one practice test first as a baseline. Then you can see which concepts you are struggling with and focus on improving in those areas.
  11. I used the McGraw book in order to study for the TEAS, my scores were similar to that of the practice tests. What I did was look at the concepts I was getting wrong and studied them so I learned how to do them. For example, fractions are not my friends. I Google searched how to multiply, add, subtract and divide fractions. That helped tremendously. You should be fine. Just continue the next couple of days to see what you are scoring the lowest in and concentrate on improving that. Don't stress too much, the TEAS is scary when you take it but then you forget all about it soon enough.
  12. From the nursing department: "The students who applied to the Nursing Program were sent letters by mail—the letters went out yesterday afternoon. You should expect to receive a letter regarding your status tomorrow or Saturday. "
  13. The response from the nursing department: "The students who applied to the Nursing Program were sent letters by mail—the letters went out yesterday afternoon. You should expect to receive a letter regarding your status tomorrow or Saturday. "
  14. Since it seems like nobody has received a letter, I sent an email to the nursing department asking when we should expect to hear. They normally reply fairly quickly (plus its nice to have the answer in writing)
