I figure we might as well go ahead and start a thread for those of us who are waiting for our letters to come....
I was looking through back postings and in 2006 letters were received July 13th and in 2007 letters were received June 26th...Boy is that a broad range of time to determine when letters will come....I think they do it on purpose to try to drive us all mad LOL
So, how is everyone holding up during this waiting process. I think the unknown is the worst thing possible. I am trying to stay positive and relaxed about this whole process, but it is becoming more difficult as the time draws nearer...
How are all of you coping with the stress of waiting? I've been doing a lot of graphic designing lately and delving myself deeply into my studies. I found the more involved I am with school, the faster the time goes by because of deadlines and such...(midterm is coming up next week) Can you believe this semester is almost half way over with?
Anyway, let's keep each other company while we all wait for the GOOD news!
Hi Amie - congrats and welcome to the "over-joyed and nervous" club!
Congrats Amie and nice to see you on the boards!
I'm not quite sure what these gals are talking about though. Over-joyed and nervous? Who? Us? HAHAHAHA...
We're all in this together! Congrats to everyone. Meme...I really hope they do right by you - best of luck tomorrow.

Congrats to all of you. Enjoy the rest of the summer because they are not lying when they tell you that you will have no life. I am doing my Med Surg 2/ OB rotation in the fall. It's a lot of work but it is soooo worth it. If any of you have questions about teachers or classes and so on let me know! Congrats again!
Is it just me, or does it kind of feel like the day after Christmas?I have really been scattered the past few days and MUST get some other school work done...
:grn:
Nope, it's not just you! I keep thinking it is the end of July instead of the beginning...LOL My hubby keeps making fun of my scatteredness....I told him, "ever since I got that letter I feel like time is moving at a different pace than I am."
I need to take my math quiz and then the midterm LOL Putting it off until Sunday though...it is the holiday weekend after all!
Where are Caroline Peltz and Maddie Diedo at NW?
Caroline and Maddie (as do all the nursing instructors) teach at both campuses. It depends on the semester and the class. I have had Caroline twice once at NW and then at Western. Maddie taught foundations at NW during my first semester and then at western the next semester. I am going in to my third semester of the program and we have all the same teachers whether you are at western or NW.

Virginia, I dont think anyone is suggesting one campus is better than the other....or that certain instructors teach at one specific campus. She was only asking which semester they were teaching at this Fall semester, at least that is what I assumed considering we are both starting the nursing program this Fall.
Personally, I am excited about the new NW campus and will be happy with either. I have heard that Matt S. is a great instructor and I know some who really love LD....I am impartial.
Congratulations on making it to your third semester WTG!!!!

I'm actually starting clinicals at Mott in Fall, but I read your post. My heart goes out to you and I hope the best for you at your meeting.
