My mail did run and I didn't get a letter today Maybe tomorrow...It does seem though based on the past two years the letters came on a Tuesday or Thursday. I know that doesn't mean anything though. When you are waiting for something and you don't know anything, speculation is all you have LOL.
Our mail clerk neglected to deliver at all yesterday, so I'm not sure if it was supposed to be in the mail yesterday but...
I GOT MY LETTER TODAY AND I'M IN !!!!!!!!
Orientation is on Tuesday, August 5th from 8:30 - 4:30.
Who else made it? My husband is working today and I've no one to do the Happy Dance with!
One of my instructors told me that it's true, their first 100 were based on a cut-off of 3.7 GPA. Not sure where it stands now. I applied with a 3.77.
Doesn't matter now - I made it! WHOOHOO!
BEST of luck to all of you that haven't received your mail yet today!

Congrats to all of you future nurses that got in. I am so excited for all of you. 3.7 that's really high. My GPA wasn't that high so I might follow you guys in January if I'm an alternate. Is it true that 19 alternates were accepted. I really hope I'm one of them. I will do a happy dance for all of you. I'm a little depressed right now. I haven't received anything today. But I will not give up on something I have worked so hard for.

I figure we might as well go ahead and start a thread for those of us who are waiting for our letters to come....
I was looking through back postings and in 2006 letters were received July 13th and in 2007 letters were received June 26th...Boy is that a broad range of time to determine when letters will come....I think they do it on purpose to try to drive us all mad LOL
So, how is everyone holding up during this waiting process. I think the unknown is the worst thing possible. I am trying to stay positive and relaxed about this whole process, but it is becoming more difficult as the time draws nearer...
How are all of you coping with the stress of waiting? I've been doing a lot of graphic designing lately and delving myself deeply into my studies. I found the more involved I am with school, the faster the time goes by because of deadlines and such...(midterm is coming up next week)
Can you believe this semester is almost half way over with?
Anyway, let's keep each other company while we all wait for the GOOD news!
