  1. Congrats!!!!:smiley_aa
  2. My letter said they eveluated my essay, cumulative gpa, letters of recommendation, and successful completion of the NET. It said nothing in regards to the point system so I'm not sure how that all worked out. My gpa was 3.57 and I took all of my classes at wcccd.
  3. Hey everyone, I got my "happy letter" today! I'm so thrilled! Anyone else with me?
  4. Hi everyone, I also applied on the 16th and I would have guessed around 100 or so people were there. My gpa is a 3.57. Good luck to everyone waiting on a "Happy Letter".
  5. I have applied more than once also so, good luck to us! Hopefully we will make it this time.
  6. I was there. I would guess about 100 people were there. Ms. N had us fill out an application and collected it with our documents. Are you applying?
  7. I am very dissappointed with WCCCD too. I am taking Chem right now so I can get on HFCC's wait list in Dec. At least I will be garaunteed a spot eventually. I have spent too much money retaking classes to make myself a good candidate for wcccd and it's still not up to their standards. I am proud of my gpa and I know how hard I worked for it. I have given wcccd too much of my money already and refuse to give them anymore by retaking classes there.
  8. Good luck to you. Keep us posted on your status!
  9. I had A's in ENG, PSY, A&P1 and B's in A&P2 and Micro.
  10. None of that matters. It is strictly gpa. I heard a rumor that next semester that stuff may be considered but not for this round.
  11. Sad news for those of us under 3.7. I just got my letter and it said the cutoff was a 3.7 again. I had a 3.56. Congrats to those who got in and sorry to those of us who didn't.
  12. Thank you and congrats! Hopefully we will be in your shoes 2 years from now!:balloons:
  13. Hey everyone, I called today and was told the letters would go out Monday morning! So we should have them by Tuesday!
  14. My friend called today too and she was told tomorrow or monday. I can't wait! I am so looking forward to everyone posting their good news! Good luck!
  15. I called the nursing office yesterday and I was told (not by Ms.N) that the letters would go out by the end of this week. I asked if she knew what the gpa cutoff was and she said "I have no idea". Yeah right.... I'm sure they are sick of people calling all the time but you'd think they'd be willing to give out a little info. As for the letters going out early in December, I certainly hope that is not the case. I don't understand why they can't be more organized and all get on the same page. I totally understand your frustration sillyrabbit. I am right there with you. :angryfire
