I called today about the packet code and the guy didn't really seem to know what I was talking about. After a while he put me on hold, came back and said that we will get it at orientation. I thought it was weird because it would seem they'd want us to get everything done as soon as possible.... but that is what he said! If anyone hears anything different let us know!

Silly question, what are you guys going to wear to the orientations? Jeans, slacks, shorts? Not sure if it's a casual thing or if it's business casual attire. Thoughts?

I have been planning on wearing shorts. I looked up the weather and it's supposed to be really warm this week. I would think we want to be comfortable, but you bring up a good quesiton maybe we should check with the office to see if there is a dress code. Thoughts?

Does anyone know what is this "PID" number is on Nursing Scholarship application?? :confused:

Oh and I'm thinking about wearing jeans or shorts with conservative-ish top. Or a sundress with a cardigan on top. I think it should be casual, but without any parts hanging out.

Anyway, I would recommend to dress more modest on the first day and then see what peeps are wearing. For a guy I would say a polo shirt and jeans? Or shorts?

Did you try your 9 digit wayne state student id number? If that doesn't work perphaps they will provide us with a PID number. Women..already discussing what to wear..lol. I say semi-casual. Ill wear jeans no shorts tho..

Hmm, they would say student id number if it were the 9 digit number, no? But maybe they mean personal id number? It's just confusing, and the application has to be submitted by July 15th.

And for those who's worried about summer heat, trust me Wayne State keeps their buildings air conditioned, I've actually been bringing a sweater with me in 90+ degree weather :uhoh3:

Is the 9 digit ID # our social? I don't think I've gotten anything that references that #. If not, I guess I better call about that ASAP!

The PID is your personal identification number. Supposedly they sent it when they sent you information when you applied to the University. I don't recall getting it that way so I called a few weeks back and they gave it to me. It's also the number you use to login to pipeline.
