Hello, I am applying to Wayne State University College of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan for fall 2010. I have completed all of my requirements to be considered for an interview/ admissions (my application is complete). How long will it take to hear a response from WSU CoN regarding an interview and or acceptance notice?
Actually you use Access id number to log in to Pipeline, it's different from your student id number. Access id has 2 letter and 4 numbers and student id has 9 numbers, and it's primarily used on all your exams forms and such. But thanks for the info!!
Thanks Besafe. The last few weeks are a bit of a blur. :)

I know what you mean, with all the requirements we need to fulfill.
I'm getting all my immunization records together and HepB shot before I do the physical.
Have anyone requested criminal background check online? How long does it take to get the
results? Do they send them directly to College of Nursing? And how much is it?
What about ACE requirements (the Hippa, OSHA thingy)? Is it like e tutorial with question we have to answer at the end?
LOL Besafe. I was wondering about the Hippa OSHA "thingy" too. I feel like if I wait until orientation I won't have enough time. So far, I ordered my criminal background and signed up for my Red Cross classes. I'll check into my physical, immunizations and drug testing today. **Sigh** my head is spinning. I have a killer class this summer so I need to spend a lot of time studying and doing homework for that too.
HELP peeps!!! Okay, i just ordered criminal background check online. All looked good and then I received an email telling me to log back on to complete "important to-do list'. So I log on and the list is empty So my question is am i missing something? Am I not seeing what needs to be done? Did anyone else have to do (or rather not do) any additional stuff?
*exhales*
Okkies, done talking. Thanks for listening!
P.S. Anyone got Liability Insurance yet?

It should say 'Background Check' under 'To Do Lists' and it should be a paragraph saying thank you, yada yada yada. And then to the side of that say, 'View Results'
Or if you don't see that, at the top you should see a tab called 'Document Center', select it and then on the left side you should see 'Background Check', select that and then you should see two files....one as the confirmation and the other the results.
Hope this helps!
And yes, I did my insurance. It took a day.
I double checked and attire for the orientation is casual, but no shorts. :) I have been going to the WSU health center for titers and immunizations and their pricing is very good for some of the immunizations if your insurance doesn't cover it. They also do the urine drug test and it's only $20 which is the best price I found after shopping around. Does anyone have any more info. on the ACE requirement login?

Yea, they have all their prices posted on their website, just google Wayne State student health center, and you can view all their prices online But if any of you peeps live in Oakland County, you can get some of your shots for free at Oakland County Health Center, I got my second MMR, TDap and HepB today free of cost, oh and TB test is free there too. I also got my criminal check results today too, it took them less than 24 hours (if anyone's interested it cost only $28).
Also, it makes sense that we cannot wear shorts *nods* We will be meeting faculty and the dean and a bunch of other important people.
