Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

for all you psy100 peeps- anyone try to take the quizzes suggested in the yellow box at the end of the chapters? i couldn't find exp. psy. in modules 8th edition, but i did find the 8th edition (the first book we bought). just wondering if anyone else was going to use those...

Jam, I sold my old one on ebay. I like the reviews and quizzes at the end of each module. So far so good.

A page passed around orientation on Monday collecting Name, email, phone information for Watts 14. I have updated a MOC list and would love to add your info if you want. Seems like it'd be easier to have a BBQ or happy hour get together that way. Just send me your info and I'll update my list and everyone on it.

Tib: I think everyone is off trying to cram in all the reading we have to get done before class starts!!

Anyone in music that might have the listening log? Moodle is down until Sunday (I think) and I want to start filling it in. Tx!!

Are you thinking of some central location or someone's home for the BBQ? Hope we can have decent weather. My family's plans to listen to live music poolside tonight were spoiled by todays weather, bummer.

Lynne: it's supposed to be an anonymous post...a place to vent, inquire, state opinions, etc. Hard to do that if everyone (ie professors or anyone moderating) knows who you are.

As for the BBQ, we are planning on a park as the venue. I really hope we have good weather... We are looking into a child friendly park. The original goal was for the group we had to get together with the families as well. For those of us who are older, married and/or with children, it helps if our family knows who we will be spending the next two years of our lives with.

Any input is welcome. :)

Anybody that has Psych 100...... do you understand the homework assignment due first day. I get the "develop a research strategy" part but ....develop it for what subject content? It seems a little vague. Any help would be appreciated!!

Hey Red,

If you look at the class assignment for Thursday, our group work is to apply our research strategy to an issue in modules 3-6. I guess if you keep that in mind while you are making your draft it might help. Hope that helps.

TIB- I get that part, but what is the draft of? Is it supposed to be a draft of the procedure or a draft of an actual experiment that we want to perform?

Are you talking about where it directs you to something online?

I couldn't find our version in modules either....would be nice to have

some more quizzes.
