Watts School of Nursing June

Published

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Mostly toward rtp and the airport, so from your direction probably west. It usually eases up around 9ish!

Lady~

I live in Cary too and I also have a 3 year old....and a 21 yr old and a 19 year old and an 11 year old. I think that's all...lol!

Let us know how you're meeting goes. Mine is tomorrow and I'd love to know what to expect. I want to try to order my books used from Amazon so I'm hoping they give us the list when we meet with them.

Good luck!!:D

Red: you've been a busy girl!!! Lol

Sitting in waiting room.... I hope to order from Amazon as well! Will let you all know as soon as I'm done.

So far so good! They took all but three of my credits !! Have to retake anatomy, dev psych and religion. Waiting to meet with financial aid...

Most of the elective courses are taken... but I squeezed into a few.. Taking creative activities, intv and advoc w children and marriage and family.

Financial aid was simple for me... I don't get any, so I have to get student loans. :(

Lady, what do you mean you dont get financial aid? You didn't qualify for any aid when you did your fafsa?

Financial aid is very disappointing, I think. I barely understood what he was talking about. I ordered my books from amazon, I would us the isbn number to order.

Fvcheer... Help me out here. I got my family contribution number from fafsa and called moc and she told me I qualify for a certain dollar amount.... Should I expect somerhing different?

Red,

That sounds familiar. I only got a small portion thru an unsubsidized student loan - I guess the rest I will have to do thru private loans.

You should get what she told you. She was right on for me and it was just a little bit of a help.

I hope youre right bc I can't get any private loans. Credit is shot. Gotta love ex's!! So we are going to have to pay out of pocket for whatever I dont get in financial aid.
