Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

So are we officially starting a Lobby Movement. Should I start a petition????? What do we have to loose. You don't have to take any classes, but wouldn't it be sweet to be able to if you felt like it. Especially if Red is paying for us to play in school.

Hey I'm totally game for signing the petition!!! It's hard to get a temp job over the summer and I would much rather have online classes and stay at home with my youngun while getting a bsn! It will save so much stress in the long run!!

I'm not sure I thought they said in orientation that it would be online? Tar you got details?

All of the BSN courses will be online....But there's staggared logistical problems to be addresses first. Some of the courses are going to be basic sciences like statistics and technical writing...Mat 240 and Eng 120 I think she said. The remaining courses are advanced nursing courses. Standards of care, practice, infomatics and what not...so you have to have some watts classes long before you could touch those, but Cawley agreed that there shouldn't be any reason that we couldn't take some of the required courses prior to graduation....Just....will they let us?

By the way...Carolina has suspended their program indefinitely so there really aren't any decent other close programs out there now. Plenty of online ones though.....I was told that MOC would essentially follow the models of other successful programs. Who knows.....I'm just waitin for HISTORY to start... YEAAAAAAAHHH

I feel a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT is due....All the information so far written is personal interpretation of previous conversations and meetings. Dr. C. neither confirmed nor denied any of the data thus far posted. She is trying to find out info as well as I am. I ask questions, she makes calls and tries to answer them. I truly believe that our best interest is the focus of her attention. Feel free to contact her and ask the same questions for yourselves. She already knows that there are numerous other students interested in this very topic and the more questions and interest she gets, perhaps the harder she will fight for us. Right now all that is known for certain is MOC is going through the Governing Accrediting Bodies review for the BSN. Very few have the actual program details, and even fewer know if those details will stand the test of time and actually become the coursework.

How did it end up that I'm paying for everything??? And can I just say that I didn't "play" at all in A&P on Tuesday. I was very quiet!! As fast as she was moving, there wasn't time to talk!!

DING, DING, DING!!! Red, You're not kidding - she was moving!! I'm a bit nervous when she actually covers stuff that we'll be tested for....really have to read beforehand and understand or it might fly by!!!
