Hi all!
Is anyone out there also accepted for Watts and starting their pre-reqs at UMO in January 2015? I just got my acceptance letter on August 1st and I am so excited!
I'm moving to the area from PA and I'm so nervous I was just in the area at the end of July and loved it. I'm currently moving out of my apartment right now in PA but probably won't be in NC until sometime between October-November. I found some super awesome apartments while I was there, and was amazed at how commutable the whole area is (compared to Philadelphia).
I look forward to hearing from any of you out there :)
Hey guys, I just sent my application on Tuesday and am really curious how long it will take? I know someone said a few months and someone said a 6 weeks. I'm so nervous I was just hoping to hear how long it took y'all?
For me: I applied early April and got my acceptance August 1st. Others have had a shorter turn around.
Is everyone excited for the meeting next Thursday! I wish I would've known I was getting my picture taken during my meeting with the Watts coordinator at UMO because I was a MESS. Hope I don't have to live with that picture for the next 2 years...
I got my schedule at the meeting:
ENG 111 1/13-2/10 Tue
BIO 253 1/15-4/2 Thur
PSY 100 3/24-4/21 Tue
PSY 240 5/5-6/2 Tue
REL 200 6/9-7/7
SOC 210 6/11-7/9
I'm a little disappointed that my religion classes from my last college didn't transfer. I am sooo not looking forward to taking yet another one. I had a bunch of AP credits I took in HS but didn't bother transferring them for ENG/PSY. I kinda need a refresher anyway :)
I'm kind of a Hermione so I've already started studying for A+P I've finished like a third of my notes already.
Hello,
I am hoping there is someone still around in this forum to help me out.
I applied to Watts last month. Passed HESI, turned in both applications, essay, background ETC. Saturday, I rec'd a letter stating I was not accepted and my journey with this school has ended. I am still in complete shock. I was under the impression that this school has an almost 100% acceptance rate. I am married to a police officer. Have 2 kids. Have never even been convicted of a traffic violation, so I know there was nothing on my background check to be flagged. Ms. Hawkins called me two weeks ago just to let me know one of my transcripts from a community college didn't show up so I resent it. Then I rec'd this letter I wasn't chosen. I literally can find no one on any forum who didn't get into the program. Does anyone know anyone else that has been through this? Does anyone think I should email Ms. Hawkins and find out if there's been a mistake made or at least find out why I wasn't chosen to be apart of this program. Any advice would really be appreciated as I am completely devastated and had all my eggs in this basket per say.
Thank you!
