Watts School of Nursing admissions test

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

I'm registered to take the Pre-Admissions (entrance) exam for Watts on April 10th.

Super nervous! Is it hard? Any advice?

--Also, how hard is it to get acceptance into Watts?

Just wondering if you ladies hoping for a June start were accepted?

I was hoping for June start date but it may be too late. Hoping it doesn't take long to hear back. I'd be happy as long as they accept me.

Seems like the 3 of us are in the same situation. I'll post if/when I hear anything.

I agree! I'll do the same!

I'm still waiting to be accepted.

---Do all the transcripts have to be in before they'll even consider you?

Yes, everything needs to be in before you are considered.

Hope we ALL hear good news soon!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Heard from UMO this morning. Orientation is next week and class starts the week after.

I just received my background check form this morning.

How long after you sent it in, does it take to hear about being accepted?

It took a week for them to get back to me after I turned it in.

You also have a financial aid & program overview meeting that needs to happen before orientation. The background check isn't the last step.

Yeah, I thought so. That makes me nervous, though. I probably won't get in until January. Oh well!

Don't give up until you know for sure you won't make June. Call and ask if June is 100% out of the question and if not ask if you can drop off the background form and fee in person today. Don't wait to mail it. That will eat two days. Keep trying. If you do have to wait until January you have to wait but don't give up yet. Good luck.
