Watts School of Nursing admissions test

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

I'm registered to take the Pre-Admissions (entrance) exam for Watts on April 10th.

Super nervous! Is it hard? Any advice?

--Also, how hard is it to get acceptance into Watts?

I'm looking into applying to Watt's. I was looking o the website and it says you receive a diploma.... Do you receive your associates at Watt's? I am currently active duty stationed in FL and will be going to NC once I separate.

You get a diploma from Watts, and an Associates in Health Science from the University of Mount Olive, then automatically enrolled into the BSN program at UMO upon graduating from Watts. You don't have to go through UMO for the BSN, as it's a little pricey. I will most likely be going through UNCW since theirs is significantly cheaper.

But you will be a RN correct?

Yes, you will be an RN!

Yup! Their NCLEX pass rate is high 90s if I remember correctly.

Does anyone know the start date for June?

I am starting to get nervous! Still changing things on my essay, trying to make sure I include everything but really want to have it sent out tomorrow. I'd like June start buuttt I think I may have waited too long ... ooppss ... anyway fingers crossed to everyone !!

Just wondering if you ladies hoping for a June start were accepted?

I'm still waiting to be accepted.

---Do all the transcripts have to be in before they'll even consider you?

Did you get a letter? I got one that said my application was complete. It came with the form for the background check. The bottom part of the letter was for incomplete applications. There are check boxes to let you know what was needed for your application to move forward.

No, I just sent in my application last week I believe. I haven't heard anything. I'm waiting on my transcripts to be sent

I received the letter just over a week after I sent all the info so hopefully you'll hear something soon.
