Washington State University Spring 2020 BSN

Anyone applying to WSU to start spring semester 2020? I'm working on my application now for the Spokane cohort. I'm a transfer student, and this will be a second career for me (and a second bachelors).

Looking forward to hearing from others who are also applying!

Haven’t heard anything:(

Hi everyone. Check your email! I received my letter of acceptance this morning. I was accepted as a transfer student to the Spokane program.

I'd like to organize a meetup in the coming weeks for those of us who will be attending the program in Spokane. If you're accepted to Spokane, please leave a comment on this thread. I so look forward to meeting you!

Good luck to you all!

Congrats Ms.Moxie!
I got waitlisted again for Yakima campus. Anyone have any insight on how the waitlist works? How many students go on it? I was waitlisted last term too but didn’t get in ?

I didn't get in ? . However, my email doesn't mention anything about waitlist. It said "We regret to inform you that we cannot offer you admission at this time." Does anyone know if that means I am on the waitlist?

Ah sorry:( @Crazytrip201 sounds like you are not. Both times I’ve been waitlisted it’s mentioned in the first letter they send out and I have to go confirm it. I’m sorry, It’s sucks. Good luck to you❤️

Waitlisted ? Stephsh, when did you know last year that you didn’t get in?

Well I kinda had a little hope up till the end cause I heard about another girl who got called at the very last minute, during orientation. But if I had to guess after December 2 I bet there won’t be much change because that’s when all the accepted students will have to have all their requirements like immunizations, drug tests, and background check in. So at that point probably all who have gotten that far are going to be starting in spring ya know? Just hoping I’m higher on the waitlist than last time ?

I guess that's better than waiting up until orientation so thank you for the information. So last time you were on the waitlist, you went ahead and got all the requirements before the 2nd right? So sorry you are waitlisted again, can't imagine how you feel =( but know you will get there, don't give up!!!

@Stephsh aw I’m sorry about you being waitlisted again ? . I was waitlisted for Fall 2019 for yakima but did get a call. I know a few people in my cohort that were waitlisted and did get in too. Don’t lose hope! Wishing you the best! @Crazytrip201 I was rejected two times and on the 3rd time I was waitlisted then accepted. So don’t lose hope?

So I didn’t put an order in for the castle branch stuff but I did get the immunization documentation that I did have ready just in case. And thank you for the words of encouragement. Yeah I’m really bummed ? But even if it isn’t this program it will happen eventually. Same goes for all you who either got waitlisted or didn’t get in, it’s a major bummer but it will work out eventually as long as you don’t give up! Good luck everyone!

@Mayflower How long did it take until you received a phone call? Nearly till orientation? @Stephsh thank you again for the insight. Best of luck to everyone and sending positive thoughts to everyone who didn't get in or waitlisted... we got this y'all, just takes time ❤️

Thank you @Mayflower I still feel a little sad though because I had done everything I could to make myself competitive (I have 3.9 prerequisites, 3.78 cum, and 82 Teas) but I can even get on the waitlist........ Thank you guys for your help, I will keep my head up and keep applying. I hope all the people on the waitlist will get accepted and hope we can all be an awesome nurse eventually.
