They have a PA forum, and you may be able to get your answer from some PA/PA students there.

You can get your answer right here at allnurses.com
Go to the NP forum and post your question. Also, view these two threads about NP and PA:

https://allnurses.com/forums/f34/difference-between-np-pa-164046.html
We have two PA's who post here frequently and are very helpful in this area.

My opinion? You are a nurse. An advanced practice NP may provide you with the credentials you need to practice the skills you desire. Good luck, personally I hope you stay in nursing--PA is medicine.

Have you checked out the program at North Dakota? If I understand correctly, the program is for nurses/other health care workers only, and much of it is available as a distance learning program.
A good site to check out different graduate programs is petersons.com
I agree with some of the other responses, that it would be wise to check out some NP programs--as an NP you have more options. You could be an NP or teach in an associate degree program (at least in WI).
Good Luck with whatever you choose.
