Anyone looking to start this program June 25? Looking to find others, maybe form an online study/support group.
Walden's masters program has been CCNE accredited since 2006 and is accredited through 2020. They do not offer an initial degree, meaning that one must be licensed as a registered nurse to complete their BSN completion program or any of their masters programs.I heard that they are not board approved in their state. This means no board of nursing approval no licensure.
Also, as of this posting you have 5 posts all saying this exact same thing, making me wonder if you have a personal issue with this school. Also, you can't believe everything you hear.
What has been your experience with Walden MSN program. Hw are the 5 week classes
So far so good. However, the program was just completely revamped for the September start, so if you just started or haven't started yet, my classes are not the same as the ones you're looking at. I have no 5 week classes. My introductory class was 4 weeks and all other classes are 8 weeks. Pretty intense, especially the first semester's first 4 weeks where I was taking two classes at the same time. Finding this semester much more manageable.
