Wake Tech Fall 2017 start

Published

Hi all! Just wondering who will be applying to the Wake Tech RN program in January, for the Fall 2017 start? I'm finishing up BIO168, BIO175, PSY241 and SOC210 this semester. If I can maintain all As, and get 12 points on my ATI TEAS, I'll have 161 points. Based on the last two classes' initial acceptance ranges, I feel like I'll be an alternate. :dead:

Great!! Thanks

So are we supposed to double the points for the Psych and Soc class or not?

Also, any idea of how much of the alternate list Wake Tech usually goes through?

I believe it is referring to the fact that an A is SOC & PSY is worth 24 points, double the points for an A in ENG and HUM. Likewise, with a B or C in those classes

Mid-April??? Omg this is torture!:bored: I was really hoping to know by at least early next week if not by the end of this week. I wonder why they're so much later this time than previous years?

Seems like, based on replies from previous admission threads, that they end up accepting 10-15 people from the alternate list. Depends on how many accepted people will turn down invitations.

If this question is towards me, then yes. I was accepted.

Best of luck to you darling. I finally gave up trying to get into a CC's nursing program. I realized that even if i get good grades, Ill prolly still wont have enough points because Ive made a few C's in my day. I applied to Watts this week.

Has anyone else heard back from the ADN program for fall 2017?

Nope I haven't heard anything :(

I talked to Ms. Watkins last week. She said that the advising dept no longer sends out letters, and it's now the nursing dept who will send them out, because of some regulations by the accrediting body. She said they have all the scores, and now we're just waiting on the nursing dept to send letters. Hopefully this week or next.

Yep I also talked to her last week and she said mid April that's why I was hoping we would get out letters this week but I'm not feeling to hopeful.
