Hey guys,

The letter says that the point ranged from 140 to 180. I am in the alternate list.?

Made the alternate list. I believe I had 133 points total since I hadn't taken micro or sociology yet (currently taking those). I wonder how long after the orientation we will be notified on whether or not we got in. Congrats to everyone who got accepted/my fellow alternates! See you all at orientation!

I'm an alternate for the spring semester and im pretty far down on the list. Are the alternates still required to turn everything in by the November 7th due date or do we wait until we get pulled off the list?

I think the only thing due by the 7th is the drug test, everything else should be December 2nd

Does anyone know how many alternates there are? I know in previous years there have been 40 but on our gateway there are only 110 students on the roster, leaving 20 spots for alternates instead of 40. Thanks!

I know im #28 and i had 130 points and at orientation they said the lowest on the alternate list had 127

So there probably are about 40 alternates! I'm thinking there are only 110 on black board because that's the amount that showed up to orientation. So that leaves 20 people who didn't show up from the alternates list & accepted list. Hopefully they will update the blackboard alternate next in line announcement soon!

Yes! I've also heard in past semesters that they have a makeup orientation around mid November so they may be waiting until after that to start moving the list. Do you know if alternates are supposed to have the drug test completed by November 7th?

Oh that would make sense! I'm not sure if alternates have to do the drug test by November 7th, I just know she said they were due the 7th (wasn't specific if it was just accepted or both). I went ahead and did mine today to be safe, I know at orientation she just said they needed to be ordered on Castle Branch by the 7th. I would E-mail Ms. Smith just to ask if you want to wait to take it! They may want everyones in at the same time.

Yes accepted and alternates need to complete everything by the due dates don’t wait because if your opportunity comes and you haven’t submitted everything by the due dates you will be passed over.
