I’m not sure how many they are accepting I hope it’s the full amount and I think for last semester they cut off the points around 144

OK so I just heard back from the nursing department and she said they had 295 applicants so they said with the extended deadlines it could be awhile and they have no definite timeframe yet

Yeah that’s leaving us no time to give notice to work, find childcare, get all of our medical stuff complete or order scrubs and textbooks. I just can’t imagine this is the solution they came up, who did you email???

Exactly there are so many other solutions they could do instead of making everyone else wait for the few people that the CNA thing applies to. We need ample time to get all of our shots and clinical stuff completed. The school is gonna go on break halfway through December so what about orientation and the Med calc review??? Sorry I’m a little upset LOL

Does anyone know what number they have gotten to on the alternate list?

Hi! im not sure if you posted this before or after the list moved but now they are on #20! I remember them saying that also so hopefully its true. I know students have up until the first day to register but I would assume that mostly everyone has registered by now. I also remember them saying that they save a few spots for students who failed last semester and if they decline that gives us more seats. If you call please tell us what they said lol we are so close

It's a list of around 40 students or so who are "waiting" for people who have been accepted to decline their position in order to get a spot.

Yes! I've also heard in past semesters that they have a makeup orientation around mid November so they may be waiting until after that to start moving the list. Do you know if alternates are supposed to have the drug test completed by November 7th?

I know im #28 and i had 130 points and at orientation they said the lowest on the alternate list had 127

I'm an alternate for the spring semester and im pretty far down on the list. Are the alternates still required to turn everything in by the November 7th due date or do we wait until we get pulled off the list?
