Hey everyone is there anyone else out there applying to Wake Forest for the Fall 2020 start date. I couldn't find a thread for it so here goes. Drop a message and lets share our experiences of the application process.
WF is one of my absolute favorite schools and would love to get in there, the fact that the program is just 24 months is a huge motivating factor for applying here even though I would end up having to move to NC. Here are my stats.
2 years ICU MICU/Trauma/Neuro
3.4 GPA first degree, 3.9 BSN
CCRN, CMC, TNCC
I precept and serve on some hospital councils.
What's up with you guys? Why Wake Forest? What are your Stats? Is anyone else applying to the early cycle? would love to hear from you all
Just fyi, for everyone who has been selected for an interview so far. I was reading through the website again and it states that if you are invited to interview then you should send OFFICIAL transcripts and GRE scores. I had completely forgotten about this, so I hope its helpful to you all.
To the above question. Carefully read all their FAQs etc on the webpage. Do not just seek out the highest ranking person you can do write you a recommendation. I chose a coworker who was a charge nurse who actually sees me in practice much more than any attending or fellow would.
No, but my application did change from “confirmed interview” to “ready for review” since this morning. I know some people who interviewed last year heard back in less than 2 weeks after their interview date. I did not ask after my interview when we would be possibly hearing back.
