Waitlists - Update as you get response

Hey guys,

I thought I would make a thread for those that are currently waitlisted so we can update when we get either a rejection or acceptance. That way, others will know if spots are opening up or not.

I am waitlisted at Regis. I was told that deposits are due this Friday for those who were accepted, so hopefully spots will open up after that! :)

Good idea! I'm on the wait list at UMass Boston's ABSN program. I haven't heard if anyone on the wait list has been offered a spot yet.

Any movement on any waitlists yet guys? I know deposits were due this week at several schools, so hopefully next week :)

I am on the Regis waitlist for DE program. Anxiously waiting.

@Boston Robin, UMass has accepted 2 people off the ABSN waitlist so far.

Thanks ahm24!

For anyone on the MGH Institute wait list, I'll be giving up my spot at MGHIHP if I'm accepted to UMB. Hopefully, it'll all get worked out soon :).

Wait listed at MGHIHP for the PNP track. I declined my spot at Regis in the beginning of March and am currently registered at Simmons for the fall...hoping to hear from MGH though!

I was offered a spot in UMass Boston's ABSN program today! I was #9 on the wait list.

anyone know anything about the curry waitlist??

Any movement on the wait lists?

anyone know anything about the curry waitlist??

Deposits are not due until June 15th so I doubt we would here anything before then.

I recall at one of the Curry info sessions I attended that they explained that they decide the size of the class they want (for example, 30) and then accept more than that amount, because they assume a certain percentage will not come to Curry. (For example, is statistics show that 15% don't accept the offer, then they'll accept 35 students, hoping to hit their target of 30.) They said they actually had a year where everyone accepted the offer and they ended up with a larger cohort than they wanted! So, assuming I understood their explanation correctly, that's why people are rarely taken off the wait list. They only take people off the wait list if the number drops below the ideal number, and to get to that point, several people have to decline the offer of acceptance.
