  1. Boston hospitals are known for not hiring RNs without the BSN. I agree, try outside of the city!
  2. Yay!! Have you ordered your uniform yet? I was going to go up to NH so I can try it on, but they are only open M-F, 9-5 which makes it tough.
  3. What group is everyone in? I am in 2C!
  4. I think you are thinking of Regis University - this thread is for Regis College in the Boston, MA area.
  5. I sent in my deposit today! So it is official :)
  6. Has anyone heard back from admissions? I was told it may take up to 6 weeks, it has been about 5 and I am itching to hear back!
  7. I didn't get the email yet - I have to send my deposit in still. $1000 is a lot to scrounge up! :)
  8. I applied to Regis, Simmons and Northeastern. I got into Simmons (only the accelerated BSN), waitlisted at Regis (now in) and am waiting for Northeastern (hybrid BS/MSN program). You?
  9. I am not really sure! I was totally discouraged and assumed that I would not get into Regis, so everything is a bit haywire as far as my thoughts about the two are. I need to sit down and really write out a pro/con list of the two. But, I really like Regis' program and have heard nothing but great things from current students.
  10. I am really leaning toward Regis - but am still waiting to hear from Northeastern as well. Regis only gave me just over 2 weeks to send in my deposit (which is a huge deposit from what I have seen elsewhere), so I have some major decisions to make soon!
  11. I emailed on Thursday and was told that there was no movement on the wait list - but I received my acceptance letter today!! So, I am assuming they have to tell everyone who asks that there isn't any movement just to cover their butts. :) I hope you guys have heard or hear soon too!
  12. I was accepted into the Regis program off of their waitlist today!
  13. Admissions told me that it shouldn't take longer than 5-6 weeks.
  14. Does anyone know about how long after your application is complete and submitted that you get your decision? Admissions told me up to 5 weeks, depending on how busy the admissions board is. Just curious what others have found.
  15. Yup, same here. I am at the point that I am so discouraged that I am just hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
