after waiting SIX months...PASSED NCLEX-PN, shawty!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey!

So I took NCLEX Friday (Feb 8, 2013) at 12:45pm. the test stopped at 85 questions after almost 2 hours and my heart fell on the floor. LOL. I was so nervous and felt so dumb while taking the test. I even had the nerve to look around the room like "am I in the correct room? is this a test for something else? is NCLEX only for graduate nurses?" LOOOOL. I was in the correct room and taking the right exam. no worries. according to the PVT, I passed. got the "good pop up". I'm claiming that I actually passed. not even about to pay for the quick results. just wait it out. spend my 8 buckaroos on a manicure.

I'm just going to keep it real and tell y'all why it took me 6 months.

So I couldn't pass HESI to graduate and before I sent that expensive packet to the BON I wanted to wait until I actually passed HESI. after the 3rd try I passed w a score of 1010!!! LOOK AT GOD. so I finally scrapped up the money (2 months after graduation) and sent my package off. I have TWO misdemeanors on my record for tampering and peace disturbance. it took them about 2 more months to give me the go and send me a letter saying I could take NCLEX. I paid the $200 in January and scheduled for February.

I continued to do questions and prayed heavy. finally took the test and passed.

I was discouraged and cried like everyday. I just wanted to be a Nurse. now I'm finally a Nurse and looking for employment.

now I feel like everything happened the way it was supposed to. I'm grateful. I get it now. now that this is over I can start working on earning my RN and some other things I want to accomplish after this accomplishment. this will open up a lot of doors for my family and I.

y'all stay blessed. stay prayed up and faithful. HOLLA!

Congrats Nurse!!!!
