My state (California) does not participate in the quick results. Has anyone on here, found out that they passed by mail? instead of finding out on the BRN website?
I found out today when my results came in the mail that I passed. I live in Alabama and my name has still not appeared on their website even though my letter was mailed out on Monday.
in clai if you have not got your results back with in 10-15days chances are not looking good. still possible but most that pass it hear about it in in like 10 days. but fear not because at least you know even if you did not pass you were very very close. as close as you can get. better to fail with 265 than 150, for example. hope to hear good thing for you soon:)
Hi there,Which website we have to look for quick result???????? As im a foriegn nurse took from california board and still waiting for result. I also got 265 question.
California does not participate in quick results. You can just keep checking the CA BON website and go under license verification for RN, when it show up there, then you have a California license.

Sorry, but that is not correct. All reviews of files are done by humans, and it depends on how many files that they have to review, as well as if all documents were received by them. It could be something as simple as a Live Scan missing, and you will not hear anything. Quite frequently, it can take about three weeks or so to hear, some do in four to five days, and I know quite a few others that had to wait about four weeks.
Best suggestion, if you do not hear anything in about ten to twelve days, check with them to make sure that they have everything. They do not notify you if they are missing something, it is considered your responsibility to find out.

I'm from CA too and I did not get my result until 5 weeks later...in the mail....FAILED...Some of the people I know that took it in CA found out in less than a week...but...PASSED...Maybe it all depends on how busy the processing is..GOODLUCK! I'm retaking mine Nov. 26th (soonest available in my area..Bummer!)
Again, each file is handled individually by a human, the number of weeks or days is not related to whether or not you failed, same way that the number of questions is not related.
There are many that got passing results four weeks later. And if your file is missing anything, then you are not going to get a reply until you take care of what ever is missing. This is usually the case for the late responses from the BON in California.

The first time I took the NCLEx, I got a letter 2 weeks later saying I failed. Do you think I still need to call them to make sure if anything is missing? If they sent me a failing letter the first time, I would assume that my file is complete. BTW, it's day 5 and still no results!

Ok, so my friend that I took the NCLEx with ended at 200 and I ended at 265. We both took it the same time, same place, and same day. His name showed up on the BRN website, and mine didn't! Is that a bad sign?
