Waiting for LVN license in Ca

I received my nclex pn results 2/7/13 stating I passed, sent the check for $150 2/8/13 and it still hasn't been cashed by the bvnpt!! Should I worry? What if it wasn't received? Have a job waiting for me but I can't be hired until my license number posts! So frustrating. ..

I took my nclex feb 6 received my results feb 21, mailed my fees feb 21 and received my license number on the website today. I still do not have a physical license but I should have it within a week.[/quote']

Oh ok, thank you, now I have an idea of how long it takes, I mailed my results and fee on March 15 and I check the website for my name everyday

I'm happy as well. My licence showed up on the BVNPT on the 28th. It will be so nice to start looking for a job.

How long did u wait for ur license to show up? And CONGRATS !!!

One more important thing that I found out is that if you mailed a personal check, they will cash it a week to ten days before issuing you a license so if you see it show up on your bank statement but you do not yet have a number on the website, don't panic! Good luck to you all!

SO..i just received an email from them today...this was the email response...

"Your ILF fee has been cashiered on 3/29/13, however, it has not been transported over to create the license number which is the second step in this process. The whole process is taking 4-5 weeks from the date the Board received the document and fee."

Is it possible to have your license number before your check shows up in the bank acct? Cuz I've contacted bvnpt and they said I'm in transition which means my license number should appear tomorrow on the website. But I haven't even seen my check go through in my acct yet.....

Five years ago I applied for my license in CA. I mailed it on Monday. I received it back in the mail that Friday. Again...how times have changed.

My husband and I are moving out of california in two weeks so i applied for licensure by endorsement less than a week ago and I already have my temp permit through my new state

Update! ! Took my nclex 1/17/13, received my results 2/7/13, sent my payment for the license 2/8/13, my name posted on bvnpt 3/9/13!! Received my license on 3/15/13. Finally!!! Good luck to everyone, I almost went crazy from waiting
