I have a question, I recently moved to NJ from NY I currently have my LPN license in NY state and submitted all my paperwork to NJ for endorsement. I want to start applying for jobs but I'm not sure how to go about applying for positions with no license yet in NJ. I'm not sure of the professional etiquette with this topic and if I should state that in a cover letter when applying, if I shouldn't state it at all and just wait for them to contact me after applying or just not apply at all and wait for my license from NJ. Can anyone help me on how to go about letting an employer know that I'm just waiting at this point for my license from NJ? Thanks so much in advance!!

Does your name show up on the NJ BoN site as pending? Then you can list your NY license and indicate your NJ license by endorsement is pending
No not yet, I just submitted the paperwork a week ago and did the application online so its quicker. In NY my classmates found jobs the same week they got there results from the NCLEX without there license numb, which Is why I figured I could at least apply because I am licensed and they weren't but yet still got hired. Do you think I should wait until my application comes up pending to apply? So I have actual proof if needed?
Well I should have checked before I opened my mouth, lol It does state it is pending.
Applying online has its advantages...good luck

Yes, explain in your cover letter that you have applied for licensure by endorsement.
