I applied for the LPN to RN program. I took the TEAS on Thursday (last minute I know!). When the lady was going over my results with me, she said it would probably be 2 to 3 weeks. Hopefully it will be sooner- I'm to nervous to wait much longer! Good luck to you- hopefully we'll both receive good news!
I will say I have gotten in twice and the first time I knew by sat after the Wednesday deadline. The second time it was a little longer. This time they have a completely new admission lady and it seems like it's taking longer. I'm assuming it's because she is new. They have 520 applicants but that is for lpn to RN and lpn program and ADN program all together. I talked to the new lady on Friday and she seemed completely overwhelmed so I didn't expect anything this week. The orientation is scheduled for the 28th which is a week later than the last time. I feel comfortable with the knowledge that we will probably be hearing something this week coming. They don't give u much notice before the orientation so I think they put the date out a week expecting it to take a week longer to get out acceptance letters. The ones that will be on the waiting list won't b notified until after the deadline to accept which will probably be the 26th. Good luck everyone! I am on Facebook if u have any more questions look me up by email [email protected] let me know u r from here so I can add u!
I would think 163 points would definitely get in. The highest minimum score was two semesters ago at 157 and the last semester dropped to 154 I think because of the new teas test. Usually the scores have always ended in the high 140s range but as you can see have recently gone up. I have 171 points so I think we are both good to go. My niece also has 163. If either one of us get a letter i will post it on here asap.

Hi everyone,
I've heard that Forsyth Tech usually sends out letters pretty quickly, beginning about a week from the deadline. I've also heard that A LOT of people -- even more than the 350 applicants in spring 2012 -- have applied for fall. I'm on pins and needles waiting for good news. If anyone else receives a letter, could you post?
