I took the June 2008 PNLE in Cebu. Like the thousands of others who took the exam, I'm also anxiously waiting for the results. Just now, to keep busy, I thought about doing volunteer work or attending trainings and seminars. Are there hospitals open to volunteers who are BSN graduates, but still don't have a license? or anyone who knows of any nursing trainings/seminars available in Cebu?

As far as I'm concerned, hospital will not hire you if you don't have a license yet. So volunteering is not an option. You can attend seminars if you want and if you can afford it.
Try thinking of those things that you haven't done while you were in a nursing school. Learn a new hobby or try something new for a change. Because when you're a nurse, you don't seem to have time for these. Good luck!

attend trainings only after you have passed the NLE and you are already a RN. hospitals wont give credits to seminars attended prior to passing the NLE. i had two trainings before passing the nle, and the hospital did not give any points for it.:bowingpur:bowingpur:bowingpur
