I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!
How about introductions and a little info about each person?
I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!
I just looked and my chem class is no longer on blackboard. I was thinking about it & last year I took an 8 week math class and it started the day after Memorial Day so June 8th does seem late.
I emailed my instructor (L.W.) and asked for a confirmation of when the course actually starts and he said "I'm confirming, hang tight for an email" ...I have no idea what that means but now my section is gone off blackboard too.
since you got to see the chem syllabus...how does it look???? Does it look overwelming or not too bad? (same with the notes...are they pretty good?)
It's very doable, IMHO. I was a bit nervous about taking it with Micro, but feel better about it now, content wise. I'm still nervous about taking it online, though, as this will be my first online class! (YIKES!)
I didn't think the course content looked bad at all. I think we start with scientific notation and the rest seems pretty basic too - Periodic Table, PH, etc. Things we already had to know/study for the TEAS! I didn't see the notes...
