I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for an ATT, does it really take this long? Is anyone else going through the same thing?

PA BON received the required information from my school on Dec 18th. I'm curious why this process is taking so long. It's getting me anxious, I'm very anxious about NCLEX and I really want to test
If your BON acknowledged the school paperwork on Dec 18th, then that does seems bit long. Did you apply before graduation or after? Like is your name in the verification system for your state as pending education and testing, or do you not have a system like that.
In in my state we go to our state board website and can do a license verification. That page will give the status of our applications. Mine currently says pending testing. But until I got my ATT it also said pending education. Do you have something like that too where you can watch for changes? Maybe PA is just one of those states that takes longer then others.

We do have a site, I am going to check right now and see what I can find out. Thanks a million mrsboots 87... BRB
I checked the website and it had a place where I can check status of my application and it told me that the page is not available so I wasn't able to get any info:dead:

Not sure how relevant this will be since I graduated quite some time ago but I was done with school in May and by the time I got my ATT and was able to schedule the NCLEX it was July before I tested. Wisconsin was and is pretty slow though, so maybe in PA you'll get moving faster. Good luck on the test by the way!
I called my state board of nursing, who checked the computer and "something just got lost somewhere". She marked me eligible in the comptuer and in 30 minutes I had my ATT. Good Luck!
I contacted my state BON and they are not available because of the snow. Only automated
Update just recieved ATT.....soooooooooo elated
