I graduated on 12/16/09 from RN program. Our paperwork was sent in on 1/4/10 to the state.Does anyone know how long it takes this time of year to receive our GN letter and ATT from state?

ATT is from pearsonvue so until you register with them you will not get your ATT, although ATT will not be issued until the state says it is OK for them to release it. Bet it only takes a few weeks if you already trained in the state
I sent paperwork in and so did the school the first week of January when school opened back up. I hope to hear something soon. Thanks!

Still waiting for ATTs in Arizona too. Everyone I know in my class that graduated 12/17 is still waiting and we registered with Pearsonvue and with the state prior to graduation to get things rolling, however I don't know when our school sent in confirmation of graduation.
It is so hard to be in limbo like this. I just want to take the boards and be done with the last hurdle or at least pick a date and have a deadline. I'm so used to having deadlines that I think I'm in withdrawal from not having any. Congrats on graduating.....we have come a long way!!
I know what you mean! I'm ready to get on with my life but I'm waiting in ATT confirmation limbo lol. Also a big fan of having goals and deadlines too; I think nursing school ingrains it into you after the first semester and it's hard to shake. Hope you get your ATT soon!
I hope you get yours soon too!! What is your studying strategy for the NCLEX? I'm up for any ideas.
My strategy is 100 questions a day for 30 days to total 3000 questions. I always read the rationales for the answers whether I get them right or not. I'm also using the Kaplan strategy book (if you haven't read it you can read it in one afternoon at your local bookstore); I'm the type of person who will read answers over and over again and frustrate myself so the Kaplan book really helped me to overcome that. I'm reviewing the 3rd edition of Saunder's Comprehensive Review (I know, using an old edition, shame on me) for content in my areas of weakness. I also have big sticky notes throughout my room with lab values and common meds (suffixes, usages and major side effects).
How are you studying?
I am also using the Kaplan and Saunders. The sticky notes with lab values is a great idea. I'm going to also get the NCSBN's 3 wk online study guide for 50.00. I am doing pretty much the same as you with some study groups mixed in. Have you played the NCLEX board game, it's really fun!:)

I could not have said that better myself, deadline and limbo. I am in New York and the wait is killing me.

I graduated on 12/10/09 in Florida and got my ATT letter before Christmas. Have you tried calling or in any way contacting the BON?
No, I havent contacted them yet. I was not sure if we could or not. Our school did not send our paperwork in to them until 1/4/10, even though we graduated on 12/16/09. Then we have all sent our applications in after the school gave us the ok. I will definitely call them today and see what the status is. Thank you sooooo much for the advice.
