Wait time for CG CP Certificate

Hi!...I just want to ask you people how long is the wait time before you receive your CG CP Certificate?...I was certified and certificate was mailed outon Sept 8, 2006. It has been over a month now and still I dont have it. Should I worry?

You should have had it within four weeks from the time that it was mailed, I suggest that you follow up with CGFNS.

I got mine within a week - it was mailed via UPS (or FED-EX or something similar) from CGFNS. the whole process from mailing my application to having the certificate in my hand was 8 weeks & that was because VT lost my request in their mailing room for 3 weeks!

So you definitely need to follow it up with CGFNS.

In my case,It took exact 45 days to reach.

w.e.f oct.16 ,2006 cgfns will send cgfns certificate and VSC through trackable mail.check cgfns site.Good news for new candidates.

hi, thanks for the posts...so maximum is 45days to receive CG Certificate by post/courier...i emailed CGFNS and they replied that for the international candidates, the wait is 2-3months from the date of mailing...so does it mean that they are bluffing me?...Trackable certificates took effect oct 16...they sent mine before that, sept.8...so what should i do now?...HELP!

time taken in the delivery of the mail depends upon the location and the mail delivery system of your country as well as the state counts, so please DO NOT think cgfns gave you any wrong information.THEY ARE THE ONLY ONE TO GIVE YOU CORRECT INFORMATION.

hi, flyinghigh!...i followed your link and saw the posts about it...thanks for the info...

pardon me, but i wonder why some received the CP Certificate thru courier while others thru standard ground mail? anyway, now at least they made it via trackable mail courier...
