Wait time for BON to post license numbers

Published

Hi all

Was wondering if anyone who recently passed the NCLEX could tell me how long did it take the State BON to post your license number?

When I passed my NCLEX-PN exam (5 yrs ago), they had the issue date of the license as the date that my quick results became available (7/11) but my license number wasn't up on that date. And I can't seem to recall how long of a wait it was.

Can anyone tell me how long from when you got your quick results to when your name showed up with a license number?

Hello everyone!

Just want to share my story about getting the RN license # after I pass NCLEX.

I did take my NCLEX in the beginning of April 2017, got my quick results 2 days later, and was expecting my license number in next 3 days according official info provided by Mass.gov site.

Unfortunately, by April,19 I still do not have my license number nor the hard copy. The status of my license still " pending".

I did call BON 2 times , but got the same answer every time:' The info has not been updated..."

I did write the e- mail to BON explaining that I do not have my license # more that 2 weeks after passing nclex. The next morning( thanks to the person responded to me quickly!!) I got response from BON to contact PCS ( Professional Credential Services); so I call PCS- they sad that "...I am ok and will get my license soon.." The best part- I got e-mail a 3-4 hrs after with my RN license #!!

I hope, my story will help somebody who will have the same situation, because such made me very nervous for almost 2 weeks!

Good luck!

I just recently passed july 5 2017purchased 7.95 pearson vue quick results . It is now july 14 no license number yet posted ...

Congrats Nikki RN . I have the same issue .

Hello honourable colleagues,

I wrote my NCLEX-RN on October 13, checked quick result and saw that I passed. I registered with Colorado Board of Nursing. Up till today, I'm yet to see my license number updated on their website. It is 8 working days now. How long does it take COBON to post license online?

Hi there, Congrats!

I was wondering how long it took you to receive your license? I took the exam 5/21/18 and found out 5/23/18 that i passed. Checked quick results and continental testing site. Thank you!

Hello

I live in PA and took the NCLEX RN on 5/18/18. The test shut off at 75 questions I got my quick results that Sunday that said that I passed. I did not pop up on pals.pa.gov until 5/31/18. I was calling the state board of nursing everyday and they just kept telling me that it now take 2 to 30 days to receive your license number online.

***PVT Still works 2019***

Hello Everyone!

I want to share my NCLEX story because I experienced the frustration and anxiety after taking the NCLEX. I know how hard it is to wait for those results for 48 hrs and even worse if you take it on the weekend like I did.

I live in Florida but I decided to take it the third time through NY BON. I was just frustrated after failing it a few times. Took it on a Saturday, my last question was 241 and I ran out of time. My whole 6 hours.... My experiences the last two times. I ran out time the 1st time at 197 questions my computer shut off, and the 2nd time at 222 I ran out of time........ I did the PVT both times right after receiving the email. And both times it declined the card I used with the wrong Exp date. But the third time I got the *** Great POP-UP*** The greatest feeling after all the Hard work!:)))

The last time I took it, after 241 questions and running out time. I can tell you that I PRAYED every few questions and never gave up even though I saw time running till the last second...... Its easy to get discouraged when you have passed 200 and something questions, you doubt the possibility of passing.... But I can tell you it is possible. Play the game until the last second and Pray because that last questions can be the passing question wether you are at question 201, 249 or 265. Don’t give up and Good Luck to all New NCLEX takers!!!
