Wagner second degree Fall 2017

Published

Hey guys!

I'm posting this for everyone who is applying to Wagner's second degree nursing program for Fall 2017. Just wanted to know how many have applied, gone through interviews etc?

My interviewer told me we'd hear back about acceptances in early April

I also had an interview. I felt she was more curious if I was going to work and I stressed that I would devoting 100% of my time to the program. The Professor that interviewed me was very informative and also confusing and hyper all in the same time. But it is nerve wrecking the wait is really unbearable. But I continue to remain positive.

I applied back in January and still haven't been offered an interview. I'm devastated. Wagner was my first choice and I can't see myself anywhere else. Seeing that all of you have been offered interviews and were told you would get a decision in early April, I'm going to guess I didn't make the cut.

Well if I were you i would definitely call. And I learned to be realistic with my self in applying to theses nursing schools is if you don't meet the requirements there is a chance you will not get called. From what I know they cap the seats at 50. Last year class had 54 students so there is definitely room. I would call OOA and talk to them asap because I think next week is when they start sending out their decisions.

anyone know if we will hear back via email or regular maill?

I am positive it will be regular mail!

Does anyone know the avg TEAS score for Wagner acceptances??

60+ on the TEAS exam is required

Yes I know that. That's a pre-req. I'm asking for the class avg of prior years

50 spots again this year, yes. But my interviewer told me thus far (took my interview back in late Feb), there were 180+ applicants. Eek!

Good of luck to everyone and please post when the letter comes in! So anxious.

Well most school take a 100 applicants and then by the end you are left with 60 so it really is a bumber that it is capped at 50. But I have heard so many stories where they accept people conditionally. So I gues we will have to wait and see...

Yes, that's what my interviewer told me as well. That they send out conditional acceptance letters as well as regular ones. Just depends on the student and whether they reached all requirements before starting the semester. Also, the interviewer said that many who do get in usually decline if another school of choice is considered. So, we shall see lol Good Luck to everyone! The wait is killing me already. Letters should be sent out by this week or next.
