Wagner second degree Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys!

I'm posting this for everyone who is applying to Wagner's second degree nursing program for Fall 2017. Just wanted to know how many have applied, gone through interviews etc?

Yes, I am. Pretty much using up all my savings but it will be worth it.

Hey guys! so I recently got accepted into Wagner college's accelerated program for this fall and I had a few questions that maybe you guys might know:

1. Where are the clinical sites?

2. What's the overall cost of the program and is there financial aid options available?

3. What's the class and clinal schedule like each semester?

4. How long is a typical semester? Are exams given every week?

Clinical sites so far have been are Edgar, SI north&south, and Maimonides.

It's about $60k- no financial aid but they give small grants ~1k a semester.. typical of all second degree programs. A little more than some but cheaper than others.

Have classes/clinicals about 4 days a week. Figure 2 full days and 2 1/2 days

Typical college semester length. Test schedules vary but you can pretty much count a test per week. Skipping a lucky week here and there. I don't remember two classes giving a test in the same week so far. You'll spend a lot of time studying it is not an easy program.

I think the best thing about the program is that staff and other students all really want you to pass. It's a tremendous amount of material but everyone helps each other and we're getting through it.

Wow thank you so much! As far as the clinicals do we have a choice or is it more of a random placement kind of thing?

Also are there any days/weeks off?
