Hey, I didn't see a thread already posted so I decided to create one. Did anyone else hear back and schedule an interview? I have one scheduled for the first week of March and was curious if anyone knew anything about the process.
I didn't even consider the ferry actually, I thought there was only one in Manhattan so I should look into that. I just did what Google Maps told me to do and it was only two buses, and I think I did transfer in Bay Ridge. My main issue was the walk to the campus. I ended up in the back entrance somehow and those hills were killer. ?

yes I spoke to her yesterday also she said they would be flexible with the TEAS deadline
@Nora M @emvee are you guys going to accept wagner or waiting for other responses
I'm most likely going to say yes to Wagner but I am waiting to see what NYU says. I just know it does not make sense for me to pay what NYU is asking for when I can get the same education in the same amount of time at Wagner. But I am curious to hear what they say.
For the person who says they got into Stony Brook, consider it! I am a current student at Stony and it's a great school and a great program with a great price. I wanted to come back home to the city since I've spent more than enough time there but it really is a good place to be.
@emvee Your telling me! When I got to interview I was sweating like crazy from the hills lmaooo Well I would most likely be going into Manhattan to take the ferry to SI. I just don't trust the bus to take me that far and get me there in time. I'm used to having almost a 1.5 hr commute to get to work so if I can take the train I will. I still have to play around with the best way to get there.
@Nora M Silly question: did you contact Bursar and Financial Aid before filling out your fafsa? I never pulled out loans/used financial aid before so I'm trying to do this correctly LOL
@emvee How much is NYU? I thought Wagner was similar in price to them

the ferry from downtown manhattan also has buses at the staten island ferry stop to take you directly to the school! I haven't taken it, but my friends have taken them to other schools on staten island and they said they are reliable
@cadrip Yeah I saw the shuttle busses come and go fairly frequently when I went to interview so thats a huge plus. I was able to get a ride to my interview but have yet to make the actual trip. Some time in the Summer I will probably do a dry run to test how fast and easily I can get there.
@sha17 We are all rooting for you! I think you still have a ton of time before they have made all the final decisions so don't give up hope. ❤️

@sha17 if it’s been a few weeks you can reach out! I told her people were freaking out about not hearing back and asked if I can put her email address here for people to reach out and she said yes

I contacted financial aid and admissions. I filled out my fafsa already. I was told we may receive emailS from fafsa since everyone is working remotely.
I never took out loans either so this is all new to me. Tuition is $75-80k ?
