Hey, I didn't see a thread already posted so I decided to create one. Did anyone else hear back and schedule an interview? I have one scheduled for the first week of March and was curious if anyone knew anything about the process.

oh no! try to stay positive I think they're still getting back to people when was your interview?

I was accepted here and college of mount saint vincent but wagner is my first choice. waiting to hear about my financial aid package before I formally accept
the worst part is going to be the commute for me! paying the bridge toll will definitely add on to the tuition
looking forward to meeting everyone!
@cadrip CONGRATS to you too!! Where will you be commuting from?

I visited the campus and it took me like 45 mins to an hour I was pushing like 70 on the highway LOL
my boyfriend wants me to go to NYU if I get accepted because of the location but it's expensive and the class size is huge
but deep down I really like wagner I'd rather have a 1:1 connection with my professor because the teacher to student ratio is smaller and more accommodating and I believe they have a higher NCLEX passing rate then NYU don't quote me on that LOL
@eerrosee Wagner does have a high NCLEX rate- 97%. And it is a great program

But I had the same thinking process as you, NYU is too large and I want to make that connection with the professors. I also got accepted to Stony Brook which is the cheapest option by far so I am really not sure what to do. I want to see how Wagner handles the TEAS (since I haven't taken it yet), but if I go to Wagner I will end school earlier in comparison to Stony Brook.
If I go to Wagner I will be looking for an apartment because I need my own space during this, and I would not be able to handle living with my boyfriends family LOL, so that would be an extra expense.
@eerroseeCONGRATS !! If I was in your position I would take stony brook because it's cheaper
I may consider an apartment for staten Island I'm not sure yet

Yes amazing it is a great program I've heard nothing but great things I've met nurses who've graduated from the program
I'm commuting from South BK so I am going to attempt doing the ferry...its a bus to a train (or 2 trains) and then the ferry and I know Wagner has an active shuttle to and from the ferry. I debated getting an apartment/living on campus but honestly don't want to tack on an extra 10-20k for that plus who knows if they will even let dorming? Anyone else coming from south brooklyn?
