Hey, I didn't see a thread already posted so I decided to create one. Did anyone else hear back and schedule an interview? I have one scheduled for the first week of March and was curious if anyone knew anything about the process.

Hi! So I also have an interview next week. Pretty nervous about it. I’ve been asking around and read through last years thread and heard the same thing: laid back interview, they ask why you chose nursing, why Wagner and the typical strengths/ weaknesses questions.

Also, Took the TEAS exam sometime in November. I did purchase the practice exam on the ATI website because previous students told me it helps. I got in the high 70s. You just need to get over a 60. My friend got a 64 and is almost graduating.

So can we talk about the heart palpitations I am having? I am curious if everyone who gets called for an interview will be accepted, and how this process works? Do you think people who are interviewed IF it goes well, it is a done deal?? From previous threads I read, they have 70 spots to fill.

The waiting is soooo hard. Good luck everyone!

Hey so I just had my interview this afternoon. Professors interviewing are really sweet. It’s a one-on-one interview. Not an intimidating process at all. They just looked at my resume, told them a bit about my job experience..they ask how you deal with stress.. if you work- will you be able to balance that with school. Said the program is very intense but they well prepare you for it. She told me a bit about the program and what to expect of it! Wasn’t bad at all!

Thank you for sharing! Did you bring any documents with you or did they look at the resume you already had on file? Not sure what to bring.

Hey everyone!

Had my interview this afternoon as well! It was not scary or intimidating at all. It felt more like a plesant discussion/conversation then an interview. You don't have to bring any documents with you; they have everything printed out in front of them. Just be able to answer why you want to pursue nursing, and how you will handle the demands of the program/handle stress? If you can answer those questions and know how to hold a conversation you will be fine. Everyone there was very nice and seem invested in the students.

Your welcome!! I hope everyone gets in too!! Whatever info I get I will continue to share. They said to not panic if your not called at the end of your particular interview cycle. There are multiple rounds of interviews so you could be called even after your interview cycle has passed. Also you can be conditionally accepted into the program pending a passing TEAS score of 60 but they have to have your grades by June 1st...no later.

@Nora M did you happen interview at noon today? I met someone by that name!LOL
